J&K: After 'house detention', Omar scales fence to reach Martyrs’ Graveyard

Srinagar, July 14 (UNI) A day after the Lt Governor's administration sealed the Martyrs’ Graveyard in the old city and imposed curbs on movement of political leaders, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today visited the cemetery to pay tribute to the martyrs of July 13, 1931.

Omar, accompanied by his father and NC president Farooq Abdullah, the Deputy Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, and senior party leaders, offered Fatiha and floral tributes. Omar climbed the cemetery fence to gain entry.

UP’s first skill development centre under Jal Jeevan Mission established in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, May 9 (UNI) Ayodhya has emerged as a unique model for the efficient implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission and skill development initiatives.

The state’s first Skill Development Centre under the Jal Jeevan Mission has been established in Ayodhya, where artisans associated with the mission are being provided practical training. So far, more than 550 artisans, including women, have been trained and made skilled.
