Educated unemployed OBC youth to get training in AI, drone technology, and cyber security in UP

Lucknow, Aug 2 (UNI) In a major move to connect educated unemployed youth from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) with the modern digital world, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to upgrade its computer training program by introducing advanced, job-oriented courses such as AI, drone technology, and cyber security.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for OBC Welfare and Divyang Empowerment, Narendra Kashyap, here on Saturday has directed the department to prepare a detailed proposal for this initiative.
The government believes that equipping youth with cutting-edge digital tools in a rapidly changing global technological landscape will make them self-reliant and enable them to drive innovation in sectors such as agriculture, security, administration, startups, and education. This initiative will not only empower socially disadvantaged OBC youth but also help integrate them more effectively into the mainstream economy.
