Punjab Guv meets Rajnath, discusses Chandigarh Sainik School, border security

Chandigarh, Feb 15 (UNI) Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Sunday and discussed strategic infrastructure and security enhancements.
The focus of talks was the proposed establishment of a Sainik School in Chandigarh and the urgent need to fortify anti-drone systems along the International Border to curb cross-border smuggling.
Sharing details of the meeting on his official social media handle, Governor Kataria described the interaction as a courtesy visit that transitioned into substantive discussions on regional security. He emphasized that the talks centred on the feasibility of a new Sainik School to provide specialized education to the youth of the union Territory.
