Hours after ceasefire, multiple explosions rock Srinagar

Srinagar, May 10 (UNI) Multiple explosions, suspected to be from drone attacks, were heard in Srinagar and some parts of Kashmir valley on Saturday night, officials said.

The blasts were heard hours after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect.

J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wondered what had happened to the ceasefire agreement reached between the two sides just hours ago.
“What the hell just happened to the ceasefire? Explosions heard across Srinagar!!!,” he said on X.
“This is no ceasefire. The air defence units in the middle of Srinagar just opened up,” he added.
There was no immediate report of any injuries in these explosions.

The blast prompted a blackout in Srinagar and some other districts of the valley
Authorities have not issued any statement about the multiple explosions.
