New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) The India men's Kho Kho team secured their place in the quarterfinals of the ongoing tournament with an emphatic 70-38 victory over Peru at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here on Wednesday.
The Men in Blue continued their impressive form, delivering a commanding performance that left little doubt about their title aspirations.
India's tactical brilliance and athletic superiority were evident from the start as they dominated Turn 1, setting an early lead. While Peru showed moments of resilience in Turn 2, India's control was unquestionable. Under the leadership of Wazir Pratik Waikar, India closed out the first round with a strong 36 points.
