Cong holds massive dharna in Delhi for 42 pc BC reservations; CM Reddy challenges PM Modi

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (UNI) The Congress party staged a massive dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Wednesday, demanding the immediate approval of the bills granting 42 percent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in local body elections, education, and employment in Telangana.

The protest was spearheaded by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, joined by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, PCC President Mukesh Kumar Goud, several ministers, MLAs, MLCs, corporation chairpersons, DCC presidents, and BC association leaders.
