AP: Water scarcity delays Agricultural operations in Pithapuram

Kakinada, July 12 (UNI) CPI state executive member Thitipaka Madhu has sought the intervention of the Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to solve the problems of farmers of the Pithapuram constituency.
The CPI leader, who was campaigning door-to-door for the two-day district conference of their party scheduled for July 16 and 17, said on Saturday that due to scarcity of water the agricultural operations in the constituency were adversely affected.
While in both the Godavari districts the farmers had already raised the paddy nurseries, and in some places the paddy transplants also commenced, the situation in three mandals of Pithapuram is totally different.
