SC urged to fast-track Karnataka judge posts

Bengaluru, July 7 (UNI) In a strongly worded letter to Chief Justice of India Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, the Advocates’ Association of Bengaluru has urged the Supreme Court Collegium to swiftly address the alarming shortage of judges in the Karnataka High Court.

The association warns that the shortage has forced existing judges across all three benches to work overtime, yet thousands of old civil cases remain pending, some for several years.
