AG Kerala wins CAG's 'office of the year award 2025'

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 17 (UNI) The Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Kerala, has been honoured with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India's "Office of the Year Award 2025", recognising it as the top-performing Accounts and Entitlement office in the country.
The Kerala office was also adjudged the most improved A&E office compared to its performance in 2023–24, marking a significant leap in efficiency and service delivery, according to a release.
A key institution in the state's financial management framework, the AG (A&E) office prepares the Monthly Civil Accounts, along with the Annual Finance and Appropriation Accounts, which give a detailed picture of Kerala's fiscal status and are tabled before the State Legislature every year.
