Kerala: PC George sent to judicial custody over alleged communal remarks

Kochi, Feb 24 (UNI) Kerala BJP leader P C George was sent to 14-day judicial custody on Monday in connection with his remarks against a community allegedly having terrorist links in India.
Earlier, a FIR was registered against George for his comment during a channel discussion on January 5. He equated a section of Muslims in India with terrorists and demanded they go to Pakistan.
George, a seven-time MLA and former Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) leader, during the day, surrendered before a magistrate court at Erattupetta in Kottayam in connection with the case.
