SL Navy opens fire, 5 TN fishermen injured, 13 arrested, India summons Lankan envoy, lodges strong protest

Chennai, Jan 28 (UNI) Five Tamil Nadu fishermen were injured when the Sri Lankan Navy opened fire during the arrest of 13 fishermen while they were fishing in high seas, prompting India to summon the Sri Lankan Acting High Commissioner in New Delhi to lodge a strong protest against the incident on Tuesday.
