Apollo Tyres flags off Mobile Medical Unit for health check of truckers

Kochi, May 15 (UNI) Leading Tyre maker, Apollo Tyres on Thursday inaugurated its Mobile Medical Unit, christened as ‘Apollo Tyres Healthcare Express’ for the health check of the truckers and the allied population.
This Mobile Medical Unit will provide vital healthcare services to the trucking community while raising awareness about critical health issues such as HIV/AIDS, prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Vision Care, Tuberculosis, and non-communicable diseases including Diabetes and Hypertension.
Apollo Tyres’ Healthcare Express will be operated by a team comprising a Medical Officer (MBBS), a Pharmacist, an Optometrist, Outreach Workers and a Project Coordinator.
