Kharge blames IndiGo chaos on Centre's monopoly push

Kalaburagi, Dec 6 (UNI) Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Saturday linked the growing public anger over large-scale IndiGo flight delays to what he described as a deeper national problem - the emergence of monopolies in key sectors due to the union government’s policies.
Reacting to media questions on the crisis faced by thousands of fliers after widespread disruptions in IndiGo operations, Kharge said the incident was a symptom of the Centre’s failure to ensure healthy competition and accountability in the aviation sector.
"They have ensured that every sector, every business, every vertical has become a monopoly of one or two people, and the people are bearing the brunt," Kharge said, calling the flight chaos "a direct outcome of concentrated corporate control"
