Siddaramaiah invites Hariprasad to AICC OBC Advisory Council Meet

Bengaluru, July 5 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has extended a formal invitation to senior Congress leader and MLC BK Hariprasad to attend the first meeting of the Advisory Council to the OBC Department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), scheduled for July 15 in Bengaluru.
In a letter dated July 3, Siddaramaiah conveyed that the committee has been constituted by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to deliberate on vital issues, strategic interventions, and welfare initiatives for the empowerment of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community across the country.
The meeting will take place at 6:00 PM at Bharat Jodo Bhavan, Queens Road, Vasanth Nagar. “Your valuable insights and contributions as a member of the Advisory Committee will be instrumental in shaping the future course of action, aligning with our shared vision for inclusive development championed by Rahul Gandhi,” Siddaramaiah stated in the letter.
