AP: Checking drives fetch Rs 8.59 cr for V’wada railway division

Vijayawada, Nov 12 (UNI) South Central Railway’s Vijayawada Division has achieved a remarkable feat in enhancing passenger discipline and safeguarding railway revenue through its intensive ticket checking drives during October 2025.
The Division registered a record revenue of Rs 8.59 crore from these checks, reflecting its strong commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for genuine passengers.
Under the leadership of B Prasantha Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, the drive was meticulously planned and executed across the division. BVNS Ravi Prasad, Assistant Commercial Manager, coordinated dedicated teams of ticket checking staff whose sustained efforts yielded outstanding results.
