Dr Gajarao Bhupal takes charge as IGP (P&L) at DGP's office

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (UNI) Dr Gajarao Bhupal assumed charge as Inspector General of Police (Planning & Logistics) at the Director General of Police (DGP) office here on Monday. The State government has also entrusted him with full additional charge of the Police Welfare and Sports departments.
A 2008-batch IPS officer from Andhra Pradesh, Bhupal, has served in various capacities in the undivided State as well as Telangana over the past 18 years.
He began his career as ASP, Bhadrachalam, and later worked as Commandant, Warangal, SP, Nellore district, and served in the CID. He also held positions such as DCP, Vijayawada, Commandant, Mangalagiri Battalion, and SP, Tirupati.
