Badminton: India clinch four titles at Telangana International Challenge 2025

Hyderabad, Nov 9 (UNI) Indian shuttlers delivered a commanding performance at the Telangana India International Challenge 2025 in Hyderabad, clinching four of the five titles on offer as the tournament concluded on Sunday. According to Olympics.com, the concluding day also proved to be one full of upsets, as the underdogs triumphed in all five finals.
In women’s singles, Mansi Singh continued her fine form, defeating top seed and compatriot Rakshitha Sree Santhosh Ramraj 21-9, 21-14 to lift the crown. The seventh seed and world No. 89 didn’t drop a single game throughout the tournament and added a second title this month after her triumph at the Mangalore India International Challenge.
The men’s singles final also saw an underdog prevail as Ginpaul Sonna stunned world No. 110 Mithun Manjunath 21-9, 21-11 in another all-Indian final to claim his maiden international title.
