Bengaluru, Feb 4 (UNI) The stage is set for a historic showdown at Aero India 2025, as two of the world’s most advanced fighter jets – Russia’s SU-57 Felon and the USA’s F-35A Lightning II – prepare to battle for India’s future Air Force fleet.
In the wake of China’s unveiling of its sixth-generation fighter jet, India is under mounting pressure to modernise its air combat capabilities, and this competition could determine which fighter will lead the charge in fortifying India’s aerial defences.
At the heart of this fierce rivalry is the SU-57 Felon, a fifth-generation stealth fighter developed by Russia. With its cutting-edge design, advanced avionics, and formidable firepower, the SU-57 has earned global recognition as one of the most sophisticated aircraft in the skies.
For Aero India 2025, Russia is pulling out all the stops, offering the SU-57 to India at a reduced price.
