L’Oréal to set up world’s first beauty-tech hub in Hyderabad by Nov 2026

Davos, Jan 21 (UNI) The Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy-led ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation on Tuesday secured another major Global Capability Centre (GCC) investment at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026, with cosmetics major L’Oréal announcing that it will inaugurate the world’s first beauty-tech hub in Hyderabad in November 2026.
The announcement was made during the delegation’s meeting with Nicolas Hieronimus, Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal. Hieronimus expressed delight over setting up a large-scale beauty-tech GCC in Hyderabad with a significant investment.
The upcoming GCC will function as L’Oréal’s global innovation, technology, data and supply chain hub, supporting the company’s worldwide digital transformation, AI and analytics initiatives. Tech solutions developed from the Hyderabad facility will be supplied to L’Oréal units across the world, the CEO said, adding that the new hub would strengthen Hyderabad’s growing position as a key global enterprise operations destination.
