One student killed, over 15 injured after school bus carrying students crashes into deep gorge near Amlibari in Nandurbar

Nandurbar, Nov 9 (UNI) A tragic accident occurred in Maharashtra’s Nandurbar district today afternoon, when a school bus from Mahonbari Ashram School plunged into a deep gorge measuring between 100 and 150 feet, resulting in the death of one student and injuries to more than 15 others.
The accident occurred near Amlibari village along the Mulgi–Akalkuwa road in the Akalkuwa administrative division.
According to police reports, the bus carrying students of Mahonbari Ashram School, located in Jalgaon district, was returning to their institution after the Diwali vacation. While descending a hilly stretch near Amlibari, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and plunge into the deep ravine below. The impact was severe, and the bus overturned, leaving several students trapped under the wreckage.
