Maha: Govt acts against bogus ration card holders, cancel 18 lakh ration cards

Mumbai, May 15 (UNI) In a digital strike on bogus ration card holders, the Maharashtra government has cancelled 18 lakh ration cards so far in the state, officials said on Thursday.
The government is currently implementing ration card e-KYC campaign across the state, which has dealt a big blow to lakhs of people who are hoarding government food grains.
The names of high-paid government employees, businessmen and rich people are being cancelled due to this campaign.
