Maha: 25-year-old prisoner tortured by 9 inmates in Nashik jail

Nashik, Mar 10 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old prisoner lodged in the Nashik Road Central Jail in a murder case was allegedly tortured for several days by nine inmates in his cell over an argument.
During the court hearing, when the victim narrated his ordeal to the judge, the court took a serious note and asked the victim to file a complaint with the Malegaon Cantonment Police.
Accordingly, the victim, Sagar alias Pankaj Bajirao Chaudhary (25, resident of Ner Kusumba, Dhule district), has registered the case with the Malegaon Cantonment Police who have transferred the same to the Nashik Road Police for investigation.
