MNS gears up for BMC Polls, plans to contest 125 out of 227 seats

Mumbai, Nov 10 ( UNI) With the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections approaching, all political parties have started testing their electoral strength. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has begun intensive preparations to field candidates in 125 out of 227 wards across the city.
According to surveys, the MNS holds significant influence in Marathi-dominated areas such as Parel, Lalbaug, Dadar, Mahim, Bhandup, and Jogeshwari.
Before initiating seat-sharing discussions with the Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction), the MNS has conducted a comprehensive survey of all 227 wards and identified 125 potential constituencies where it plans to contest.
