Maha: Naxal with Rs 3.5 lakh reward surrenders in Gondia

Gondia, Nov 10 (UNI) A wanted Naxal, carrying a bounty of Rs 3.5 lakh, surrendered to authorities in Gondia district of Maharashtra, today, a police official confirmed.
Wargesh, also known as Kosa Manglu Uika (26), originally from Bedre village in Kanta tehsil of Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, laid down his arms in the presence of Gondia Collector Prajit Nair and Superintendent of Police Gorakh Bhamre on November 10.
He was associated with the Jagargunda Dalam and the Bhamragarh Area Committee under the South Gadchiroli Division of the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist). In addition, he was active in the Gatta Dalam and Chetna Natya Manch.
