UNEP Report projects dramatic surge in cooling demand by 2050

Belem (Brazil), Nov 11 (UNI) The UN Environment Program (UNEP) has released its Global Cooling Watch 2025 report today at COP30, highlighting that cooling demand could potentially triple by 2050 if current trends continue.
This surge is attributed to rising population and income levels, increasing instances of extreme heat, and a growing number of low-income households having access to less efficient and more polluting cooling methods.

Washington, Dec 10 (UNI) As part of its ongoing bid to clamp down on illegal immigration, all foreign nationals entering the US may soon be required to undergo mandatory social media screening and expanded biometric screenings by federal authorities, as the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks to overhaul its existing mechanisms to more effectively verify the identities of all those entering the country.
