Cambodia apprehends 12,728 drug suspects, with 1.46 tons of narcotics in H1 2025

Phnom Penh, July 2 (UNI) Cambodia had detained 12,728 drug-related suspects in the first half of 2025, up 8 percent from 11,780 over the same period last year, said an Anti-Drug Department (ADP) report today.
Among them are 304 foreigners, including 29 women, the report said.
"A total of 1.46 tons of illicit drugs, as well as 366 kg of dry marijuana and 12,212 fresh marijuana plants, had been confiscated from those suspects' possession during the January-June period this year," the report said.
