No decision on resuming talks With US: Iran

Tehran, August 7 (UNI) Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that no final decision has been made regarding the resumption of indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, though communication between the two sides continues.
“There is no final decision [on resuming indirect talks with the United States]. Contacts have taken place. We have received messages from the other side [the U.S.], and [the decision on] whether negotiations will be held in the future... depends on whether our interests are respected,” Araghchi said in a live interview with Iranian state television channel Tehran.
Iran and the United States held five rounds of indirect talks on the Iranian nuclear program with the mediation of Oman, and the sixth round was supposed to take place on June 15. It did not take place due to the outbreak of a military conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
