Iraqi PM reaffirms support for regional security, stability

Baghdad, Jan. 19 (UNI) Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani emphasized on Saturday his country's support for efforts to promote security and stability, and prevent the escalation of conflicts in the region.
Al-Sudani made the remarks during his meeting with Daniel Rubinstein, the U.S. charge d'affaires to Iraq, during which they discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region, according to a statement by his media office.
The two sides explored ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and advance the implementation of mutual agreements "in a manner that benefits both nations and fosters growth in their partnership across various fields," the statement said.
