Nominations for Padma Awards 2027 open, last date July 31

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Sunday announced that the process for nominations and recommendations for the Padma Awards 2027 has commenced from March 15. The awards will be announced on the occasion of Republic Day 2027.
According to the MHA, the last date for submitting nominations is July 31, and all nominations or recommendations must be submitted online through the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal.
The Padma Awards, which include the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri, are among the country’s highest civilian honours. Instituted in 1954, these awards are conferred annually to recognise “work of distinction” and exceptional achievements or service across a wide range of fields.
