UP Cabinet approves Ethanol production at closed Chhata Sugar Mill in Mathura

Lucknow, Sep 15 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to reopen the Chhata sugar mill in Mathura, which has remained closed for nearly 19 years, for ethanol production. The proposal was approved at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, at which a total of 23 proposals were cleared. Briefing the media after the meeting, Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna announced the decisions, while other ministers elaborated on the proposals concerned.
