Odisha: CRUT to introduce three Hydrogen fuel cell buses

Bhubaneswar, May 15 (UNI) In a major step towards promoting green and sustainable urban transport, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will introduce three hydrogen fuel cell buses.
These buses will be deployed under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with GRIDCO and NTPC.
Currently, CRUT operates a fleet of 560 "Mo Bus" vehicles — including 380 diesel and 180 electric buses — across 106 routes in the Capital Region, Rourkela, Berhampur, and Sambalpur, providing accessible and reliable urban mobility to lakhs of daily commuters.
