Odisha targets 7.5 crore saplings in 2025; 75 lakh to be planted on Sept 17: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Sep 15 (UNI) Odisha has set an ambitious target of planting 7.5 crore saplings this year, of which 4.65 crore have already been planted, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said today.

Reviewing preparations with senior officials and district collectors, Majhi announced that 75 lakh saplings will be planted across Odisha in a single day on September 17to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
