Odisha to unveil Inland Vessel Rules, ink key maritime MoUs at India Maritime Week 2025

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 (UNI) Odisha will unveil the Odisha Inland Vessel Rules, 2025 during the upcoming India Maritime Week (IMW) 2025, at Mumbai underscoring its commitment to strengthening inland water transport and sustainable maritime growth.
The state government will also sign strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Indian Ports Association (IPA), Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Ltd. (IPRCL), and the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) to enhance port infrastructure, logistics connectivity, and tourism.
Chairing the 6th Board Meeting of the Odisha Maritime Board (OMB) on Monday, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja reaffirmed the state’s determination to revive its maritime legacy and position Odisha as a leading coastal economy.

NSF, CNTC oppose Yoga Day observance in Nagaland schools on June 21

Odisha forms probe panel over errors in school textbooks
