Olympic medalist Swapnil Kusale honoured by prestigious Arjun award

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Gung ho after receiving the prestigious Arjun award from President Droupadi Murmu, Paris Olympic bronze medalist marksman Swapnil Kusale on Friday said the recognition has motivated him ahead of upcoming tournaments.
Swapnil had clinched the bronze medal in men's 50mtr rifle three position event in the Paris Games 2024. Heis the first Indian shooter to win an Olympic medal in this event.
President Draupadi Murmu handed over the Arjuna Award to Swapnil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here during the day, while his coach Deepali Deshpande got the Dronacharya Award.
