Once Again, ‘Women’s Rule’ in Navi Mumbai! 56 out of 111 Seats Reserved for Women.

Navi Mumbai Nov 11 ( UNI) In the lottery for the reservation of seats for the upcoming Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, announced on Tuesday, women have once again asserted their dominance.
According to the draw held at the Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium in Vashi, as many as 56 out of the total 111 corporator seats have been reserved for women. This means that nearly half of the seats in this year’s election will see women candidates in the fray. This will be the sixth municipal election since the first one held in 1995.
Originally, the elections were scheduled to be held in March 2020, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, they were postponed indefinitely.
