Only Goddard slower than Campbell to first Test hundred

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) In a remarkable display of patience and perseverance, West Indies opener John Campbell brought up his maiden Test century today, ending a long drought for Caribbean openers.
Campbell reached the milestone with a stunning six off Ravindra Jadeja as he lifted the ball high and deep into the stands at wide long-on. It was a moment of pure relief and joy as Campbell removed his helmet, raised his bat, and soaked in the applause from the dressing room.
