Opposing Vande Mataram biggest obstacle to national unity: CM Yogi

Barabanki, Nov 11 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Tuesday that no sect, religion, or caste can be greater than the nation. "Our goal should be nation first. If the nation is one, we are one. Opposition to Vande Mataram is the biggest obstacle to national unity," he said.
The CM urged the countrymen to recognize those who stand first in line to grab government schemes but stay away from singing Vande Mataram. "This hurts national unity," he said.
"Casteism, nepotism, regional politics, divisions in the name of religion and creed, the evil tendencies in society, and the act of pitting brother against brother, caste against caste, and region against region must never be accepted," he said.
