Opposition blames Centre for Manipur crisis

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) The Opposition in the Lok Sabha today blamed the BJP and the central government for the deteriorating situation in Manipur, calling the ongoing crisis a "man-made disaster."
Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, moved a statutory resolution to extend President’s Rule in Manipur for another six months.
Initiating the discussion on the resolution, Congress leader Anto Antony said that the events that occurred in Manipur have severely worsened the situation there, and the Prime Minister has remained silent.
