Padikkal guides Karnataka into Vijay Hazare final

Vadodara, Jan 15 (UNI) Devdutt Padikkal played a match-winning knock as Karnataka stormed into their fifth Vijay Hazare Trophy final with a commanding victory over Haryana at the Kotambi Stadium here on Wednesday.
Padikkal, continuing his sensational form in the competition, struck 86 off 113 balls, leading Karnataka to a comfortable chase of 238. His seventh consecutive fifty-plus score in the tournament helped knock out the defending champions and set up a showdown in the final.
Padikkal’s innings followed his impressive 102 against Baroda in the previous match and came after an early setback for Karnataka, with captain Mayank Agarwal falling for a duck in the opening over.
