Palak Tiwari on her first meeting with Deepika Padukone

Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) Actor Palak Tiwari has opened up about her admiration for Deepika Padukone, describing the star as “perfect” and revealing that she was left completely speechless the first time they met as a child.
Tiwari, who is currently seen alongside singer and rapper King on Prime Video’s ‘Lukkhe’, got candid for Variety India’s 'Spotlight' and revealed how she is inspired by Deepika Padukone’s journey and idolizes her the most. “I think she is a quintessential heroine, you know? She's just perfect.”
Recalling the encounter, Tiwari shared that she was around 12 years old when she accompanied her mother, actor Shweta Tiwari, to the sets of 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', where Padukone had arrived to promote "Happy New Year" in 2014.
According to the 25-year-old actress , seeing Padukone in person left her completely speechless. While the 40-year-old actress warmly tried to make conversation, the young Tiwari could barely respond, leaving her mother urging her to stop panicking and say her name properly. UNI NST CDS
