Panchakarma Services to Be Extended to Hotels, ECHS, De-addiction Centres: DC Kangra

Dharamshala, Jan 24 ( UNI) Panchakarma facilities should also be made available through local hotels of HPTDC, ECHS beneficiaries and de-addiction centres to strengthen Ayurvedic healthcare delivery, Deputy Commissioner Kangra and Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) Chairman Hemraj Bairwa said.
He was chairing a meeting of the Governing Body of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti of the District Ayurvedic Hospital, Dharamshala here on Friday. The meeting reviewed action taken on decisions of the previous governing body meeting held on January 16, 2024.
Bairwa directed officials to explore mutual cooperation with HPTDC hotels for providing Panchakarma facilities and to ensure necessary steps for extending Panchakarma and AYUSH services to ECHS beneficiaries. He also stressed effective inter-departmental coordination to provide Panchakarma treatment to patients at the de-addiction centre in Prayas Bhawan, Dharamshala.
