Pant & Mitchell return to top 10 of ICC Test Batting Rankings

Dubai, Nov 6 (UNI) India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell are back in the top 10 of the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings after fine performances in the third match of their ICC World Test Championship series played in Mumbai.
Pant, who scored 60 in the first innings and a doughty 64 in the second during a failed chase of 147, has advanced five slots to sixth, which is one off his career-best fifth position attained in July 2022.
Mitchell, who was ranked third in September this year before slipping down the table, has advanced eight places to seventh position after scores of 82 and 21.

Washington, Nov 18 (UNI) President Donald Trump has announced that US embassies will expedite the process of granting visa appointments to travellers holding tickets to the 2026 World Cup, BBC reported.
Speaking at the White House on Monday, Trump said the FIFA Prioritised Appointment Scheduling System (Pass) will allow World Cup ticket-holders with long wait times to opt for a 'FIFA prioritised interview'.
