Pawar demands swift resolution for protesting Maha teachers

Mumbai, July 9 (UNI) NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar today pressed the Maharashtra government for immediate resolution of the ongoing teachers' protest at Azad Maidan here, condemning delays in addressing grant disbursement issues for aided and partially-aided schools.
The veteran politician visited the demonstration site alongside MP Nilesh Lanke and MLA Rohit Pawar, where educators have staged a four-day sit-in coinciding with the state legislature's monsoon session.
