PCB relocates ODI and T20 Tri-Series to Rawalpindi after Lahore blast

Islamabad/New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced a revised schedule for the ongoing ODI series and the upcoming T20 tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, while also shifting all fixtures to Rawalpindi in the wake of a suicide attack in Islamabad.
Earlier, the series was scheduled to take place in Lahore, but due to players’ security concerns, the tournament has been shifted to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
According to the updated itinerary, the second and third One Day Internationals between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will now be played on November 14 and 16 at Rawalpindi, the Pakistani newspaper, Dawn, reported.
