PM Modi says Telangana key to India's development while launching projects worth Rs 9,400 crore

Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said Telangana's development was crucial for India's progress while virtually inaugurating and laying foundation stones for multiple projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore in Hyderabad.
Addressing a gathering at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), the Prime Minister said Hyderabad holds both national and global importance and that the projects launched would help transform Telangana into a major manufacturing hub while generating thousands of employment opportunities.
Highlighting the Zaheerabad Industrial Smart City project, Modi said it would be developed with world-class infrastructure, uninterrupted power supply and advanced ICT facilities to attract global investors and create employment opportunities for thousands of youth in Telangana and Hyderabad. He said industries such as automobile manufacturing, machinery production and food processing units coming up in the zone would benefit workers and farmers alike.
