PM to inaugurate new campus of Nalanda University in Bihar's Rajgir

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the new campus of Nalanda University at Rajgir, Bihar, on Wednesday morning.
In a post on X, the PM said the university will go a long way in catering to the educational needs of the youth.
“It’s a very special day for our education sector. At around 10:30 AM today, the new campus of the Nalanda University would be inaugurated at Rajgir. Nalanda has a strong connect with our glorious part. This university will surely go a long way in catering to the educational needs of the youth.”
The new campus of Nalanda University is located close to the ruins of the ancient university in Rajgir.
Nalanda University is a collaborative effort between India and the East Asian Countries.
The new university started functioning in 2014 from a makeshift location and construction work on the new campus started in 2017.
