Police, NIA conduct raids at Al-Falah varsity

Chandigarh, Nov 11 (UNI) A joint operation by Haryana Police and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) was carried out at Al-Falah University in Faridabad on Monday following the recovery of 2,900 kg of explosives from a rented house in the district.
Security forces surrounded the university campus during the search, which lasted for nearly an hour and a half.
According to sources, three individuals associated with the university’s laboratory have been detained for questioning. However, officials have not confirmed whether they are employees or students. Both the police and the university administration have refrained from issuing any formal statement regarding the detentions.
