Political parties, students' body condemns harassment faced by CUET examinees

Shillong, May 16 (UNI) Political parties and students' organisation in Meghalaya on Thursday condemned the harassment faced by Common University Entrance Test (CUET) examinees at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) on Wednesday due to mismanagement and demanded action against erring authorities.
The undergraduate students who appeared for the English test had to wait for several hours in the rains in absence of proper signage, to direct them to their respective examination halls.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had marked NEHU’s Cluster Building as the examination hall, but NEHU authorities assigned two other buildings as the examination halls without intimating the students.
