Popular actor Raghava Lawrence weighs political entry, to take final call after getting public response

Chennai, June 12 (UNI) Amid rumours that he could contest the ensuing bypoll to Tiruchy East Assembly seat--vacated by TVK Founder and Chief Minister Vijay--on TVK ticket after taking the political plunge, actor-director and popular choreographer Raghava Lawrence on Friday dropped enough hints of taking the proverbial plunge and that he would take a final call on it after getting tje public opinion.
Lawrence had a couple of days back, following intense speculations that he would join TVK and contest the bypoll as its candidate, sought to put an end to it and said he would make an important announcement on June 11. But it was postponed by a day following the death of veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja.
In a social media post along with a message on video, he said recent circumstances have prompted him to consider a move he had never previously planned.
