Prakash Ambedkar demands thorough SIT investigation into Beed doctor's death, meets family, seeks review of postmortem records

Beed, Nov 9 (UNI) Prakash Ambedkar, president of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), today demanded a comprehensive and impartial probe by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman medical practitioner from Beed district.
Ambedkar made this demand after he met the family members of the deceased doctor and stressed the need for an exhaustive investigatio n examining every aspect of the case, which had earlier led to the dismissal of a police officer accused of sexual misconduct.
Ambedkar urged that the SIT begin by conducting a detailed review of postmortem examination records prepared during the past 12 months, with special focus on those compiled during the period of the young doctor's employment.
